16-Civ-B8 Management of Construction
16-Civ-B8 Management of Construction is a civil Group B exam about running construction work rather than designing it. It covers how the Canadian industry is organized, how projects are delivered, estimated and scheduled, and how safety, quality, labour and contracts are managed through to disputes.
Planned for wave 2.
Also written 16 Civ B8; papers set before 2017 use the older code 98-Civ-B8.

Most tested, 2013 to 2019
Across 14 sittings from May 2013 to December 2019, every paper offered six 20-mark questions and candidates answered five. Every paper had an engineering economics question (17% of the marks) although the syllabus does not name it, scheduling with CPM or PERT also came up every time (17%), and safety (14%) and estimating and bidding (14%) came next; quality assurance, site investigation and industry structure never appeared.
From 14 sittings and 84 questions of the papers EGBC published. Statistics only: we do not reproduce the questions.
