The technical exam syllabus
Every code on PEO's Fall/Winter 2026 exam list, plus the Engineers Canada syllabus exams PEO does not list: 89 in all. We are building prep for the first three now; the waitlist decides the order after that.
Reading a code
In 16-Civ-A1, 16 is the 2016 edition of the syllabus, Civ is the discipline and A1 is Group A, exam 1. Group A exams are a discipline's core, Group B exams go deeper into one area, and the Basic Studies (04-BS) and Complementary Studies (11-CS) exams serve every discipline.
Engineers Canada's current pages give some subjects newer codes (22-Mec, 22-Elec, 20-BS, 23-CS). PEO and EGBC still schedule exams under the codes below, so we list those and note the newer code on each exam's page.
